About Me

I’m an actress hailing from Miami, Florida with over 10 years of experience in the arts and live theatre. Raised in a city where a way out seems to only be realized when the sun kisses south beach on the horizon, I was lucky enough to find an alternative route in theatre. It all began at Miami Northwestern Senior High School’s PAVAC Magnet Drama program. Under the direction of Ms. Charlette Seward, I was able to spread my wings and realize my full potential. Ms. Seward revealed aspects of myself that were untouched, and once recognized, I vowed to express them by any means. Achieving the award for Most Outstanding Drama Student my junior and senior year, I decided to further my education and hone my craft beyond PAVAC. 

Accepted into Florida A&M University Summer 2013, I fell in love with FAMU’s Essential Theatre. During my time there, I excelled in roles such as Black Mary from August Wilson’s Gem of the Ocean, Angel in Blues for an Alabama Sky, and Mame in Radio Golf. In addition to receiving stellar reviews from these powerful roles, I was selected to participate in the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival two years in a row. I also received recognition at the Florida Theatre Conference and the Southeastern Theatre Conference where I received seven offers from various theatre companies to work as an ensemble actress. 

After FAMU, I worked professionally in a few productions at The African Heritage Cultural Arts Center in Miami, I landed three roles in George C. Wolfe’s Colored Museum, and was casted as Beneatha in New City Players’ production of A Raisin in the Sun in which I was Nominated for a Carbonell Award. 

Currently reside in Atlanta, I’m working on a few film projects and staying active in the theatre. It is my intention to breathe life into powerful roles from engaging stories that set the stage and screen ablaze!
